Heating your home in the winter and providing hot water for bathing and washing dishes, clothing, or other uses is vital. Combining the tasks with a hot water boiler can be a significant upgrade in many older homes. A hot water boiler is an excellent combination system that heats the water as you need it for domestic use and circulates hot water through radiant baseboard heaters to warm your home. This allows you to split the heating system and have a zone on the first floor and another on the upper floors. 

The advantage is that you can lower the heat on the upper floors and use the rising heat from the floor below to offset the warmth. Setting the thermostat from each loop individually allows you to maintain the temperature you want in different parts of your home, saving you money in the long run.  

Hot Water

When you switch to a residential boiler installation, you may notice a difference in your hot water supply. Because the boiler makes hot water very quickly, it does not store it in a tank, so unless the boiler stops working, you don't have to worry about running out. 

This is a great benefit for families with multiple showers happening back to back or when bathing kids and refilling the tub several times in a short period. It also means that running the dishwasher, washing machines, and having a shower simultaneously is possible.
